We move homes. Doublewides are usually $2,400 to get it ready and 1,800 to 2,000 to move. The size will make a difference and if it has axles and hitchs. If no hitchs we get 750 to supply and weld 2 hitchs. Axle install and removAL is 200 to 400. If we block on the other end we can get our axles back. Blocking is usually about 2400 you supply the blocks and shingles to enclose the roof . 300 to install the siding, interior molding install 400 to 600 and tiedowns supplied and installed 700. Skirting is expensive and time consuming. It takes about 3 box's of skirting to do a home. You could spend 1400 on skirting and 4 to 500 installing. Insulated skirting is more maybe $3500 on materials . Utilities are usually time and materials but the average septic , electric, and water hookup from the pad up is under $1500. Then you need steps or deck at least 4x4. And maybe 2,000 to 2500 for these. We get $1,700 to do decks but I don't think I make much off doing them.3157309197. Ny and pa cer |

Always make sure if someone is willing to move your mobile home that they are licensed in the state. In WV there are transporters and installer licenses. My transporter was not licensed to set up but he did and it was not done right.
Always ask for proof of insurance and license and verify these before payment. Also make sure to have a receipt and legal contract between you and the mover to protect yourself. If an accident happens during the move, take immediate action and get estimates to have the repairs done. If the mover wants to repair themselves think twice and always have the work checked! |

Goolsby is the cheapest in North MS. They are courteous, timely, and supplies moving materials. They do not leave until you personally verify it is level. I would recommend them to anyone. |

Help me please. I'm sick of the cold. What was an adventure nearly 40 years ago when I was young, has become a proverbial "mill-stone" about my neck!!!!!
Because I'm medically retired, and cannot work, I need to KEEP the home I own outright now, but NOT in bumphuk egypt!!!!
My home is 30 years old, extremely well insulated, in good condition, AND ONLY WORTH ABOUT $8,000. SELLING MY HOME HERE BEFORE MAKING THIS MOVE WOULD BARELY COVER MY MOVING COSTS, AND GUARANTEE THAT I'D BE FORCED TO BE AN APARTMENT DWELLER UNTIL I DIED!!! NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!
My monthly lot rent is currently more than the costs of my future monthly payments on a private, vacant parcel of land. I simply need to get my home there. |
