In nov last yr we had 150 gal supposedly put in my mothers tank we'd just got some 1 1/2 mon before just made last payment they came back out 150 more had nt had chance to even make 1 at payment and it was empty they put in another150 I ask why she was out so soon the excuse was a leak she had no leak we checked every thing the bill then was over $ 600. She ran out again in two wks they wouldn't bring anymore my mother only gets 700. Amonth to by groc and pay bills we had to get assistance to pay that bill because I mself employed and live 200 miles away they were hateful and rude when I ask them to have Gage's checked on truch because I knew she couldn't use that much living alone they told me I could no longer have service with them |

I'm on a great save lock-in rate through June 2015 @ $2.19/gal. This is up from last yr's great save rate of $2.09 that locked me in from 9/2013-3/2014. (Don't know why they change the end dates.) And that was up from a great save rate of $1.99/gal in the Fall 2012/Spring 2013 program. I don't know what the current market is for Propane and this website is helpful to understand what others are paying. I actually thought I might be paying a lot considering how cheap energy is getting although NatGas hasn't dropped that dramatically. Propane is a by-product of the extraction process for oil and gas so i thought it might be cheaper. |

10 24 14 Have used this firm since 2000. Great Service, Paul Heller a really nice guy (president), Chris, John and the team very personable and helpful. The price right now is $2.29-$2.69 per gal for pre pay. Looks like it could go down to 2.19 in next 7-14 days. They own the tanks and its lease cost is in the gal price which I would rather do than try and buy my own tank and worry and maintain it. Anything goes wrong they are right there to help me. They installed 3, 30K btu fireplaces which with electric heat pump, those fireplaces have kept us nice and warm. Now with a new York Hybrid heat pump installed by JNK Turbotville PA the LP Gas will kick in when the air temp is at 30 or below. I have used it since it was installed Feb 19 and I have seen a dramatic electric cost to my home heating bill. |

Just did a 400 gal fill at $1.899 which I didn't think was too bad considering some of the other prices I've heard about. This is my first house that has used propane and I am real nervous about costs. |

Last time I checked Propane is a by-product of natural gas processing. Why the hell is it $5.76/gal!! I'm so fed up with the excuses I get on why it cost so much, complete BS! |

Propane in our area has now jumped to $3.06 a gallon. Funny how PA is supposed to have an abundance of natural gas that we would be gouged so much for propane. |

How can they charge so much more than any of the prices I see quoted here? We have a propane tank in our condo in York, Maine which they own. It just keeps going up and up. Doesn't anyone control this price gouging? |

This is what my 82-year-old father had to pay for one months supply of propane. His Social Security check is only $1300 a month. Our church just down the road paid about a $1.29 a gallon with Chartered fuels. Next year my father will be buying his propane from Chartered fuels. |

How can a 800-1000 sq. ft. 15 year old home use so much propane! A small 2 bedroom home with the thermostat set at 66-68. I supplement with a electric oil heater, close off bedrooms, and propane just disappears. It's like I'm paying for two houses! I've had homes with electric baseboard heat and natural gas. Propane sucks. I pay so much to be so cold every winter! I'm just trying to understand......how??? |

I called and bitched low and beholed they matched the price. my brother lives 99 miles away he gets it for 1.28 per unit what the hell why the difference in price? |

2 deliveries within a month... ($370.25 & $302.93, fees & taxes were over $75 of it)
Including fees, averages out to $2.50 per gallon, which doesn't seem too bad compared to others posts, but either the house or the tank isn't holding the heat or gas well...its so much more expensive than natural gas heating! |
