I own the tank, paid 1.89 per gal, plus tax, delivered 139 gallons....... works out to 2.15 per gallon. Not to many choices in lower Alabama, very close to Mobile Alabama, and Pensacola Florida. Bloosman Propane was much higher, Not sure if Amer Gas services area. No delivery charge. My home's only use of product is fireplace, dryer, and stove. Purchase time is approximately every 2 years so I do price shop. |

We just paid ~ $280 for 150 gallons. It has been around that cost each fill for several months. This is in 2016 (which does not seem to be available in the pull down menu) :) |

AmeriGas seems to price gouge because they get away with it. I was quoted a lower price when I inquired about delivery in December 2015. They billed me $4.85/gal after the delivery. Unreal pricing when a rival company quoted me a price of $3.65/gal. Both are over the top when the US wide average is $2.00/gal. Maybe that's why their representative was armed when he first contacted us. Strange bunch. |

Like just about everything in this country, it costs twice as much if it's in Cally. This price is pretty routine - SVP charges this price, +/- a few cents, no matter when you get gas or how much you order. Seems a rip off but apparently this price is 'competitive' with other So Cal suppliers. |

When I called in the order they said $324 would fill up my tank, but the meter just went from 25 to 50. This is my first time buying gas, but that doesn't seem right to me, & it's the weekend so I can't call. Help! |

I paid that price in January of 2015. I had been on smart pay with them for years. I have been their customer since 1999. For some reason they will no longer let me have a smart pay. They will only let me get a delivery if I pay up front. They say it's because the computer does things automatically and it can't be changed. I have heard this before. I will give corporate a chance but my next call will be to the BBB. |

Pre bought 900 gallons on July 2nd @ 1.69(I think price has dropped 10c since then)...they matched best offer. I have been with them since 2007 and I bought my tanks from them. This is the lowest we have paid. These guys are a completely stand up company. I always recommend prebuy....last year our price dropped but I still came out ahead overall. Prices in New England are always higher. Our heating is very efficient...and we have wood back up. Anyhow....I recommend anyone on the Seacoast to give Hartmann a shot....straight shooters, and will price match. No problems ever. I highly recommend. |

A couple of weeks ago I purchased almost 1,150 gallons of propane. I have a 1,000 gallon and 500 gallon tanks leased from Suburban. The total was just under $1,800.00 including tax. The price was $149.9 per gallon. I think I did okay. |

Company: paraco Gas |
cost per gallon became excessive compared to other companies in area, canceled service. Paraco came and removed their tank. 30 gallons remained in tank that I expected to be refunded, when I called about the refund I was told the $98.10 was a restocking fee. Do I have any recourse? |

The hose was hooked to my tank literally for 1 min. They are charging me for 28.3 gallons! How long would it normally take to fill 28.3 gallons? Just wondering! |

Suburban installed my gas lines and brought a 125 gal. Chg.'d me for install as agreed, but the price per Gal.+ the amount didn't match up. I called to cancel and remove. I called Heritage and they install tank and filled it. Everything was going great until a change in management happened. I called to remove everything. I got Amerigas, everything was going great until I questioned the price I was paying per gal.! I went from $2.83 to $5.60. I withheld my payments, as I was told they would get a answer. The answer I received was "it was costly to bring propane into te state, that's why it cost so much. " B S " |

The Co. tells me what my monthly cost will be for all yr. But, last two yrs. it goes up last 6 mon. , because they say I am not paying enough monthly. So I have a large balance on my settle-up date. So I raise my monthly smartpay plan and still owe a large settle-up balance! I am living alone now that my wife became an angel last yr. |

My delivery company suggested that I prebuy my propane to avoid higher gas prices in the cold months. So I paid $ 3.32 per gallon for 600 gal in August 2014. Now the average quoted price in NC is $ 2.80 and the NC Department of Natural Resources just posted an excuse for outrageous propane gas prices due to shortages. I guess it is finally time to change suppliers. |
